AN APOLOGY FROM THE PUBLISHER ABOUT THE RODEO
As you all know, our newspaper is mailed free of charge to 11,000 households and businesses and an additional supply placed around the communities in Valley Center, Pauma, Pala, Palomar and parts of Escondido. The Valley Magazine, with its Western Days edition, will be included to those 11,000 households and additional 4,000 handed out at the parade and at the Western Days festival - coordinated by the Valley Center Press and an army of volunteers in our community. I want to apologize to the participants, sponsors, and vendors who are part of the Stampede Rodeo but will not be included in our publications promoting your businesses and involvement.
We know and appreciate the long hours you invest in our community - and for that we thank you. We tried to include you, wanted to, and even did as much investigative reporting as we could to make sure you were highlighted and stories written about your efforts. When we…

I’m writing to let you all know that, as of today, April 15, 2014, I am no longer writing for the Valley Roadrunner.
I had been writing for the Roadrunner in a freelance capacity since August of 2013, but will no longer be submitting articles to that publication.
